IQQA^®-Chest is available in a Workstation version that provides a turnkey solution for hospitals/clinics with limited PACS infrastructure, and in a newly release Enterprise Version that provides seamless, integrated PACS workflow.

Powered with the same computer-assisted detection support software of the debut software V1.0, IQQA^®-Chest V2.0 Enterprise aims to redefine how advanced clinical applications can and should be accessed by radiologists.Up to now, radiologists have simply had to accept that the use of advanced imaging software meant they would have to operate at dedicated workstations detached from their primary PACS review stations.Responding to this clinical challenge, EDDA has developed a unique enabling solution capable of instantly deploying the full functionality of the IQQA^®-Chest application on existing PACS review consoles without additional requirement or setup effort on the workstations.

• Tools to perform lesion/nodule marking, and selection are also accessible

Should the radiologist wish to perform further lesion/nodule analysis, IQQA^®-Chest offers the additional capabilities:

• Lesion/nodule segmentation in automatic or manual mode
• Instantaneous automatic computation and display of quantitative measurements from segmentation results
• Mechanisms for physicians to input diagnosis and notes, and to confirm nodules to be reported

IQQA^®-Chest provides a clinical report generation tool, consisting of the following feature set:

• Automatic generation of a clinical report based on physician confirmed diagnostic information
• Allows physicians to input notes and attach a digital signature
• Secures the report with time and date stamp
• Report may be printed, or stored in DICOM format with the patient's corresponding image file in the PACS archive

Clinical experimental results have been and will be presented at various international conferences, including ECR 2005, RSNA 2005, RSNA 2006 and ECR 2007. A multi-center clinical studies involving hundreds of chest DR/CR cases from screening patients by physicians of different experience levels demonstrated that the IQQA^®-Chest software helps to reduce inter-observer variation and to improve the detection rate of nodules (source: RSNA 2005). Another study involving use of IQQA^®-Chest in routine clinical environment showed that the real-time interactive computer system helped participating residents detect more small nodules (source: RSNA 2006).
